Location: Overlooking the valley of Luberon with open views to the mountain "Mont Ventoux" you find this beautiful, original and ancient   farmhouse with a real Provencal countryside atmosphere. The property has 17.000 m2 of land and the house is in the middle, surrounded by wine yards  and orchards.  Around the house is a big garden with huge lawns and a new, private tennis court and a private fenced pool. The house and the garden are totally undisturbed, neighbours are far away and the area is very calm. 

The charming old village: Lacoste, with its old castle - the former residence of Marquis de Sade -  is in walking distance (1,5 km) from the property. Here you find the local baker and a few restaurants. The distance to Bonnieux,  where you can get all supplies is less than 5 km and here you can do your shopping for all daily supplies. The house is centrally located with a short distance to some of the well known cities of Provence like Avignon, Isle sur la Sorge with its famous antique market and Aix en Provence. The distance to the international airport of Nice is 2,5 hours.

The house: The house, which offers a lot of  space (350 m2) has over the last 30 years gradually been renovated, but is still kept  in an authentic, rural style with a lot of charming rooms and has all the facilities needed for  a comfortable holiday. The house is especially ideal for several families, looking for quietness, authentic Provencal style, and a place that offers a lot of activities for young and old. All the facilities  described below are at your disposal, only.

Ground level: The big hall leads to a the very big living room (120 m2) with an open fireplace and the atmosphere of a castle. From the hall also access to 3 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, 2 of them with toilets. One guest toilet. Next to the main entrance a separate apartment with a bedroom (2 single beds) and a bathroom with toilet.

Lower level: Dining  hall, access to a terrace overlooking the pool area. Kitchen with access to a lovely court with a summer kitchen and a barbeque. Separate library, opening to the terrace.

1st floor: 1 bedroom with bathroom and toilet, leading to another bedroom with 3  beds.

The entire property with all its facilities is at the tenant's disposal, only: 

• 6 bedrooms. 3 bedrooms with a double bed, 2 bedrooms each with 2 single beds and 1 bedroom with 3 beds.
